LESS “WHERE DID THAT ONE GO?”

A QR code on the door.
A record your whole team can find.

You shouldn’t have to piece together a unit’s location from memory, handwritten notes, and somebody else’s phone.

Scan the code. Know the unit.

Give every porta john a unique QR code. Team members scan it with their phones to open the right unit and record the work. No hunting through a list of unit numbers.

A place for every unit.

After a QR scan, record the placement so the office can see the unit’s last recorded location alongside its activity history.

Leave a useful record.

Keep placement photos, access notes, and field details with the activity instead of buried in a text conversation.

Document the movement.

Record deliveries and pickups so the next driver and the office can see what happened to the unit.

Keep the crew connected.

Use individual driver logins and the existing team messaging tools to keep field activity connected to the office.

Keep the history together.

Look back at recorded activity and export records to PDF or CSV when you need to review the work.

QR CODE TRACKING, RIGHT FROM A PHONE

Scan the code.
Track the unit.

The easiest way to get the right record starts with the code on the door. Your team members just scan it with their phones, then log the work.

Try QR code tracking
  1. 01

    Label each unit

Attach its unique QR code so every porta john has a scannable identity.

  2. 02

    Scan with a phone

A team member scans the QR code to open the right unit in Track Your Dump.

  3. 03

    Record the work

Log the delivery or pickup, location, photos, and notes. The office gets the saved record in the same system.

PUT THE PIN IN CONTEXT

A last known location.
A clearer next step.

See where your team last recorded a unit and review the activity behind that placement. A photo of the entrance or a note about a locked gate can save the next driver a lot of guesswork.

Locations are updated through field records. This is not continuous GPS tracking, and it won’t automatically detect a unit being moved.

Understand recorded locations

A FEW PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before you put it to work.

How does QR code tracking work?

Attach a unique QR code to each porta john. A team member scans the code with their phone to open that unit in Track Your Dump, then records the delivery or pickup, location, photos, and notes. The scan identifies the unit; the saved activity keeps its tracking record up to date.

Is this live GPS tracking?

Locations come from recorded field activity. No GPS tracker is installed on each portable toilet. If someone moves a unit without recording it, the last recorded location may be out of date.

Do drivers need to download an app?

The existing Track Your Dump platform runs in a web browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. There is no app-store download required.

Does it include recurring cleaning schedules or route optimization?

Cleaning schedules are included to help your team keep up with recurring service for each porta john. Route optimization is not included.

LESS SEARCHING. MORE CERTAINTY.
